Dunno if this has been changed but the last time I played, managing the worn-out clothing totally negated all the possible gains from even having a clothing industry. With 200 dwarves you could have them all hauling worn stuff to a smasher full-time and that's what they'd spend 100% of their time doing.I still have yet to use any industry related to smithing, clothing, gems/pottery, advanced farming (milking, cheesing, shearing, cooking, raising animals like birds/bees etc) & siege mechanics/pump operating.
